71st Day of Camping....

As many of you know I fucken hate Facebook but thought I would try and trick the system and get back on just cuz I am an asshole and like to fuck with them. I am using my Dads name for now cuz they canceled my account for posting naked pics, etc... they are just plain... Anyway, I have a new page and there we have it. 

Yes, this is my 71st day of camping and I think I will be ending this "camping" story shit now. I am sure all of you that visit this blog will totally appreciate that. I am at the library using the computer cuz I had to sell my laptop to fix the van - hence the time warp in the blog updates recently. I think I will be blogging about my new art career that I will be starting up again real soon and some major positive shit from now on. I am going to continue camping and saving money and that will be the end of that for now. I did have to give Charby away to a god friend and I can see him anyway so it was a good thing cuz he was just not as happy as he should have been being in the van all the time and with the heat we could not have him in there. He is totally happy in his new place with a wonderful person. This person is actually my new best friend here in Goleta and I am so happy Charby is with her.

So, I am going to post the latest Ceramic Tattoo "Wall Hangings" below. I am going to be expanding this part of the business and will be making a lot more of these wall hangings to sell at the local art fair at the beach and hopefully put some in Tattoo Shops and go to some Tattoo Conventions. It is a new idea that I hope people will respond possitvily too. I am using a tattoo machine to complete my art on clay. I believe in this new concept and will be perfecting it soon. I have contacted some local privcate schools and I am going to try and get in with one to be a instructor in exchange for some studio space to use when I want to. This way I can kleep my expenses way down and having a van now instead of a bike I can actually take some shit out there and try to get my name out.. I am really excited and I should be starting this in the next couple of weeks or so. I will blog more tomorrow as I am running out of time now on this library computer..

Life could be worse:

This is what I have been doing in the afternoon. I like my afternoon 2-3 hour siesta with Charby... I must say I am looking forward to getting back to work though too. I am enjoying this little break from the biz and work but ready to get back now after this next week. I can pull up to the side by the bathrooms and park in the handicap section and just watch the world go by, it is very nice. Charby likes to eat by the beach and smell the ocean. He got totally pissed today and dug his claws into my arm big time.. I tried to pick him up and get him to pose for a pic but he freaked and dug into me. I did get this pic after he was still a little pissed off at me.. 

I need to make a schedule for myself and start following it. It will be harder when I start to work full time and live in the van. I will have to get up about 6:00 to get to the gym and start the day. It takes about 2.5 hours to do the workout and get my ass ready at the gym. So that should get me to work by 9:00AM. What to do in the evening.. I will probably not want to blog every night after being at work and computing most of he day. I will be working out in the morning before I take a shower. So this is what I am thinking about tonight. I usually go to meeting in the evening but I have been just going to the 12:00PM meetings and liking that. I get all focused on girls when I go to the late night meetings and I need to put myself in a better place to meet new people to be around me not that AA people are not good it is just that I want to broaden my social base of people. I need to build a network of people and support that will be good for me. I think it would be good to be able to do my art at night. I want to run an add in Craig's list once I get a job and see if I can rent a partial part of someones studio that has a kiln already and pay $100.00 a month or so. This way I could go there at night and create. I would also like to go back to the Beach Show on the weekends. This is a good venue for the right product. I think my tribal design wall hangings will go good at this venue for like $25-$45.00. It is such a nice place just to hang on Saturday. The people that show there are totally cool too. I can pretty easily produce about 1 carving a night so I should be able to go weekly to a local show and start there to see what people want. I eventually want to go to Tattoo Conventions but I want to perfect my technique first and the small weekly show is the place to do it. Ya, I think doing my art at night is the way to go. I think I will do that. So that is exciting. I can have the van now to take my stuff to sell it.

I really like this free radio station that probably all of you know about called - Pandora great little station that you can play while computing. I totally recommend checking it out.

I think this guy says it so dam good man!  I often eat a little bit of my clay before I start to throw for that same reason. I can totally relate to what he is saying.. Only true artists will understand this shit. It is a language of the arts and anyone who has had the burning desire in the pit of your stomach to be compelled to produce your art and get it out of your soul and into form you will understand this video.  Enjoy!

Infinity Symbol - Latest Art I am working on...

I just carved this tribal eye last night. I am really getting into the tattoo gun and enjoying using it as a carving tool. It is very adjustable and flexible to change the way you carve with it. This is a small one and will be a pet urn. I am still waiting on the pet urn designs from my friend in Italy that is going to draw tribals of all the dog and cat silhouettes. They are going to be bad as when I get them... For now I have been looking in my tribal books I have purchased and getting design ideas on the web.

Also did some work on this tribal design I found on  the web. I like the swirly effect and it was fun to carve.  I am still thinking about eh ink color and background color. If anyone has any thoughts on color choices I would appreciate it.

I threw these last night on the wheel the funny looking "woman shape" vase is a "infinity Vase" I am working on for my new friend Andrew, he helped me with my website and I really appreciate it!  He made me a very cool logo and banner and gave me lots of advise. Anyway, I am making him this infinity vase, I will carve it tonight. I am going to put a infinity sign in the front of it and a circle dragon on the back, should look very unique and may be a hot selling urn? I liked the idea when he told me that he liked the infinity symbol. I should be carving this anyway that I make custom urns.

This is a tribal shark that I did, like this one.. It should be pretty cool. This will be a shinny black color when I am done with it and I will fill in the tattoo machine marks with a blue ink symbolizing water.

New Pet Urn - Tribal paw angel wing urn

This is a new pet urn that I completed today.  It is a nice design.  I am so excited to have Maria a friend I met on line that lives in Italy to be collaborating with on some pet urn silhouettes we are going to do together.  I asked her if she would be willing to take all the dog breed silhouettes and make each one a tribal design.  She has agreed and I can;t wait to start to carve and complete these new pet urns. I already have done a cat's eye pet urn below this week.  I found her artwork on Devian Art, great site for drawings and other arts.. I totally recommend it for some awesome pictures.

to get your name out and I am determined to do that from this day forward. I totally recommend this book by the
way for SEO. I like to write blog posts because it is creative and I am a very creative person being an artist and
all.  I got this rad keyboard, it is a Dell and I love it, this will help in the typing of this new blog. Urnnews  Blogspot is a blog about the art of making "art urns".

I watched this very cool documentry on the Biography Channel about Jimmy Hebndrix and it was awesome.  I
just got Direct TV so I can tape the shows I like to watch... I tweeted the song of the day "Red House" by Jimi
Hendrix cuz I just love that song. When I used to play pool for a living I used to put that on the box in the pool
hall and just play and play.  I remember that song was playing the time I won $1,000 playing a 7 game set with
a friend of mine. Shout out to Barry at "Breaking Times" in Hemet, this is where I grew up. 

I am getting on a regular schedule starting today blogging about all kinds of stuff that is going on and really my
journey starting TooTall's Pottery.  It will be a really cool journal if nothing else haha.  I need it to get me some
business for my art urns so I can continue to live my dream of doing pottery full time here in the Central Coast.
I am using my other blog the - Word Press Blog I just opened to put some "cool" stuff on too.  I like to surf You
tube and "share" some cool videos I see.  It is nice cuz you can share them right onto your blogspot I guess cuz
You Tube is part of Google. Video blogging I guess.. I should check out some music blogs and see how I can
link up to them as well.

Oh, this is a totally cool site, it is called Social Oomph and it is awesome you should check it out.  It allows you
to post tweets on a regular basis throughout the day without having to type in each tweet.  Real cool SEO tool..
