Musink Tattoo Convention and Music Festival at OC Fairgrounds

What goes together better than punk rock and tattoos? Nothing, in our opinion. The creators of the Musink Tattoo and Music Festival would no doubt agree. This year marks the fourth annual installment of the event, and they have Thrice, Circa Survive,the Used and Hot Water Music on tap to provide the grooves while hundreds of talented tattoo artists ink up the faithful.

Last year's Musink was off the hook, with a kickass lineup headed by NOFX, Face to Face, the Damned, Buzzcocks and the Cult. This year has a decidedly nu-skool flavor, but that is cool, too; tattoos, like punk, are multigenerational and never go out of style. So bring your boots and pins and un-inked skin (if any) to the OC Fair & Events Center the weekend of March 4-6. It's a celebration of everything OC rockers hold dear.

PRICE: Tickets are already on sale at $27.50 for single-day general admission, and $52.50 for a one-day VIP. Three-day passes are $57.50 or $107.50 for a VIP all-weekend pass.

Hummingbird on the Balcony

 I have this wonderful Balcony that overlooks the beautiful Santa Barbara Hills and vistas.  I absolutely love it and I am really blessed to have such a perfect place to do my art.  Every day these hummingbirds come to get a drink about every 15 minutes like clockwork.  I will be sitting outside carving or painting a piece of pottery and they will come by and look at me and then go get a drink.
