Aztec Style Pottery by TooTall
This is a piece I just got out of the kiln tonight. I will be giving this piece to some new friends. It took me soooo long to make this piece! About 5 hours actually. It is a red clay with a black under glaze carved through with a tattoo machine. I left the top of the ceramic piece unglazed so you can view the raw state of the clay. I like the contrast it gives. I carved it when I was doing a show at State and A a nice restaurant in Santa Barbara that invited me to do an exhibition last month at the First Thursday art festival. I finished with my tattoo gun when I came home. Let me know what you guys think???
Thanks, Matt
