Tribal Aries is a good tattoo idea for anybody born between March 21 and April 20. Courageous, independent, optimistic and adventurous, Aries is known as the pioneer of the zodiac. Members of the Aries sign don't let anything get in their way and are always ready to overcome the next challenge. Typically Aries is represented by the Ram. However, there are many motifs and symbols you can use to make your tattoo more original. Here are some ideas:
1 The glyph. The glyph for Aries resembles a capitalized V with the tip of each arm curling out. The glyph is meant to represent the head of the Ram. Because of its simplicity the glyph can be styled in any shape, form and size.
2 Mythological motifs. Aries is the constellation representing the ram of the Golden Fleece sought by Jason and the Argonauts. The myth revolves around two motherless children Phrixus and Helle. After the death of their mother, their father king Athamas remarried the evil Ino. The new step mother tried to get rid of the kids. Luckily their own mother was watching over them from heaven. In order to keep them safe she sent them away on the back of a golden ram. Helle fell off and died but Phrixus survived. He sacrificed the ram in gratitude to the gods. The myth is rife with elements you can incorporate in the tattoo. A golden ram with two children on its back, for example, can make an interesting tattoo design.
3 Mars. Mars is the ruling planet of Aries. In Roman mythology the planet is associated with Mars, the god of war. You can incorporate the image of war god along with the glyph or the Ram image.
There are many ways to make your tribal Aries stylish and unique. Tribal tattoos in general give a very distinctive look. However, they are almost impossible to erase or cover up because of the large amount of ink used. Spend enough time and energy in finding the tattoo design that really works for you. When it comes to tattoo designs, rash choices can sometimes turn into lifelong regrets.
